Four years after the events of Train to Busan, Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won) now leads a group of soldiers on a search and rescue mission to find survivors and to retrieve a huge bag of cash. When they get stuck within a new zombie attack, a young kid drives over to save them. He and his team are aided by a female survivor (Lee Junghyun). Together, they come up with a plan to escape the apocalypse.
