Celine Dion nabs 6 Juno nods

Leading the 2008 Juno Award nominations with six nods is Céline Dion, whose 4X platinum album Taking Chances and No. 1 French album, D’elles, garnered her two nominations in the same category of Album of the Year, along with nominations for Juno Fan Choice Award, Artist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year and Francophone Album of the Year. Close behind with five nominations is Avril Lavigne, also nominated for Juno Fan Choice Award, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year. Crooner Michael Bublé also scored five
nominations, for Juno Fan Choice Award, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for Call Me Irresponsible, which includes
the No. 1 hit single, “Everything.” The 2008 Juno Awards, Canada’s Music Awards, will air on CTV on Sunday, April 6th from the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta.
