Celine Dion nabs 6 Juno nods

Leading the 2008 Juno Award nominations with six nods is Céline Dion, whose 4X platinum album Taking Chances and No. 1 French album, D’elles, garnered her two nominations in the same category of Album of the Year, along with nominations for Juno Fan Choice Award, Artist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year and Francophone Album of the Year. Close behind with five nominations is Avril Lavigne, also nominated for Juno Fan Choice Award, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year. Crooner Michael Bublé also scored five
nominations, for Juno Fan Choice Award, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for Call Me Irresponsible, which includes
the No. 1 hit single, “Everything.” The 2008 Juno Awards, Canada’s Music Awards, will air on CTV on Sunday, April 6th from the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta.

   It was an incredible year for music and as usual Celine was leading the way. She’s amazing and as a woman I wish I had her cheekbones!

   Its easy to be confused. If you know our styles in the way we talk on here. You might know its us and not our double. Who like to have fun. You got to have fun in some way, huh? Lol. So, if you have been on Karen, well, I haven’t been here in over a week….so I wouldn’t know what you have said with my name. Wouldn’t care either way….

   I think Celine has an incredible voice.

    Are you the real Karen? If so, I’ve noticed I havent seen your name lately. But yeah, we can usually tell by the style.
    She does have a good voice, I was in the car one day singing along to her not knowing it was her. I don’t really care much for her and was surprised and a little embarrassed that I was singing along with her. Oh well, even though I don’t like her, her music isn’t bad.

    I want everyone to know that wasn’t me. I love Celine’s music and look to her as a fashion icon. She’s the best!

    That’s what I was thinking Nancy, but then I thought maybe this person (?) has insomnia, or maybe they work shift work like I do. If I’m working nights and it is quiet, I will sometimes go online. But yes, this person may be taking the room Brit just vacated!
    Um, anyone got any idea what he/she/it meant by “doppleganger”?

    She is very annoying. She and her whole family annoy the hell out of me. I went to her “breakfast” restaurant ( Nickels) and it was noon and they weren’t selling breakfast. Sorta defeats the definition of “breakfast Restaurant”.Needless to say, I have never went back, and that was in 1999. $8 for 2 eggs and toast. You can buy the hen and the stone mill for that much…..
