Jon Cryer honored on Walk of Fame

Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday prior to the season debut of his show, now co-starring Ashton Kutcher. Cryer, who has remained gracious throughout the whole Charlie Sheen ordeal, even when Sheen called him a troll, said, “I do have to say a real word of thanks to my co-star of eight years, Charlie Sheen, who gave me so much as a performer and who I enjoyed working with so much.” On a recent appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, he revealed that during Sheen’s meltdown, he was “worried that Charlie was going to die. That was the big fear for me.” At yesterday’s ceremony, he also thanked the creators of Two and a Half Men, Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn, for how they handled the entire incident — especially regarding their decision to fire Charlie, saying, “When it came time to make the ultimate decision, which was some place nobody wanted to go, [they] did something that, in my belief, saved my friend Charlie Sheen’s life.” [poll id=”313″]
