X Factor judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger have received death threats after they voted to send Drew Ryniewicz, 14 (pictured at left with the show’s host, Steve Jones), home from the competition. Drew, who cried steadily as soon as she realized she was in the bottom two with Marcus Canty, was inconsolable onstage after Canty’s mentor, L.A. Reid, Paula and Nicole decided to send her home. Simon Cowell took the blame for her poor song choice and begged the other judges to keep her, but they went with Marcus instead. Fans have targeted Nicole and Paula, sending them death threats via Twitter and Facebook. Sources with the show say both judges are shocked by the threats but stand by their decision.
