Labor Day leapt off the pages and onto the big screen last night at TIFF. Author Joyce Maynard penned the novel which serves as the basis for the film, and the author walked the red carpet along with the film's high-profile cast. Kate Winslet dazzled fans, sporting a baby bump and looking radiant as ever. Director Jason Reitman and actors Josh Brolin and Tom Lipinski walked the red carpet, along with the adorable Gattlin Griffith. Fan favourite James Van Der Beek was on hand with his newly expectant wife, Kimberley. Labor Day plays again at the Ryerson Theatre on Saturday, September 14th at 6 p.m.
