Rookie Blue star Missy Peregrym joined us in our suite on Day 8 at TIFF to promote her new thriller Backcountry, alongside co-star Jeff Roop and director Adam MacDonald. Backcountry, MacDonald's directorial debut, revolves around a young couple who get lost in bear country deep in the Canadian wilderness. The stars took some time to take photos and have a few laughs with interviewer Zain Meghji.
Pixar's Jim Murphy also came by to serenade us on his ukelele while he promoted his visually stunning animated short Lava, while Big Muddy stars Holly Deveaux and Justin Kelly stopped by to chat and sign our poster.
