Affleck, of course, will be appearing as the Dark Knight himself in April's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, don't expect to see Batman v Bourne in theatres any time soon. "Batman's gotta take on Superman first," Damon said. "If he could beat him then maybe he could take on Jason Bourne."
Damon in the midst of filming the fifth installment of the Bourne franchise, which has yet to receive a film title. With the current trend of superheroes still going strong, would Damon consider donning a cape of his very own? Don't hold your breath, according to Damon.
"I think they're kind of out of superheroes," he said. "Ben's going to be like the sixth or seventh Batman, so I don't think there's really any left. So I'm good. Jason Bourne is my superhero."
The Martian, which had its world premiere at TIFF on Sept. 11, hits theatres Oct. 2.
