Landmark Cinemas 9 City Centre Edmonton
Located on the top floor of Edmonton’s City Centre mall, this 9-screen Empire Theatres location originally opened as the Eaton Centre by Cineplex Odeon in 1998. The name changed in 2002 while ownership changed to Empire three years later. It includes two auditoriums that seat more than 500 moviegoers—useful when the theatre hosts the Edmonton International Film Festival every fall—while the theatre can hold 3,078 total guests at a time. With close access to the city’s Light Rail Transit line, it is a popular destination for teens and young adults who can also take advantage of an Empire student deal—$10.50 for admission, popcorn and a drink.
