Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse tops box office again

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse climbed back up from third place to the top spot at the weekend box office. The popular film took in an extra $19.3 million for a four-week total of $317 million. Click here to read our review.

The Pixar animated film Elemental, which debuted last weekend, held onto second place, earning an additional $18.5 million for a two-week total of $65.5 million.

Last weekend’s box office champ, The Flash starring Ezra Miller and Michael Keaton, tumbled to third, earning just $15.3 million more for a two-week total of $87.6 million.

No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence was the only new film to crack the top five, debuting in fourth place. The comedy took in $15.1 million. Click here to read our review.

Rounding out the top five was Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, dropping one spot from last weekend to earn an additional $11.6 million, giving it a three-week total of $122.9 million. ~Alexandra Heilbron
