All about family on Day 1 and 2 at Tribute TIFF Media Lounge

It was a family affair on Day 1 and 2 of Tribute's TIFF Media Lounge, where we met the loved ones of some famous faces, and a father-son duo share the screen. On Day 1 we sat down with Pauletta Washington, the elegant Broadway star, who's in Toronto to perform her innovative stage show "Chronicle."

Pauletta graciously shared stories about life, love, stardom, music -- and some wisdom she's gained over 32 years of marriage to Denzel Washington, who proposed three times before she said yes! Delightful radio personality Rita Carrey, whose stage show "Growing Up Carrey" (about the fun and chaos of being Jim Carrey's older sister) is taking Ontario by storm, made us laugh with childhood memories and funny stories from her eclectic life!

We always love to pamper our stars in the Tribute Suite, and it was our pleasure to gift these phenomenal women with luxury cosmetics and Delsey Paris luggage. What a pleasure to speak with them!

Day 2 saw a number of foreign film actors and directors in our TIFF suite, including father and son, Jasmin and Filip Geljo, who joined their co-star Masa Lizde, as well as the director and producer to discuss The Waiting Room.

Director Claude Lelouch and actors Christopher Lambert and Elsa Zylberstein joined us in promoting their film, Un Plus Une, which stars Oscar-winner Jean Dujardin.

Other films featured on Day 2 include Al Purdy Was Here, Ville-Marie and We Monsters. Stay tuned to Tribute.ca for full interviews and, in the meantime, view our Day 1 and 2 gallery below. ~Alexandra Heilbron
