Amir Nasrabadi and Darwyn Peachey know a thing or two when it comes to working at Pixar. The two have been involved with the studio in California for years and thought it high time to open a branch right here in Canada. The new Pixar Animation Studio in Vancouver, British Columbia not only gives Canadian animators more of an opportunity to find work but it also focuses entirely on animated shorts based on already well-known characters from previous Pixar films like Toy Story and Cars.

Bonnie Laufer from Tribute sat down with Amir and Darwyn to get the lowdown on the new studio.
