Red Riding Hood

Catherine Hardwicke - Red Riding Hood Interview

Catherine Hardwicke may have directed Twilight, but she has quickly moved on to tackle another "wolf," so to speak. Hardwick's latest offering is Red Riding Hood, a dark, romantic spin on the classic fairy tale. The film is set in a medieval village being hunted by a werewolf, where a young girl (Amanda Seyfried) falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family's displeasure.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Catherine about her vision for the film, working with her talented cast, and the directors who have influenced her career.
