George Clooney’s surprising engagement

By Tribute on April 28, 2014 | 2 Comments

After telling Esquire magazine last September he had no “aspirations” to be married with children, actor George Clooney took everyone by surprise when he proposed to British lawyer Amal Alamuddin. According to reports in both People magazine and New York Post‘s Page Six over the weekend, unnamed sources confirmed George is indeed engaged. While dining with George at a restaurant in Malibu, California, Amal was sporting a huge sparkler on her left hand. George’s rep would not comment on the situation, saying to CNN, “I do not comment on his personal life.”

The two first went public with their relationship last October at a dinner party. Amal was also George’s date for a White House screening of The Monuments Men in February. The Oxford-educated lawyer seems to be a perfect match for the A-Lister. Last July a British website ranked “The 21 Hottest Barristers in London” and Amal made the top of the list. Another reason why the two are a perfect match? The dark-haired beauty isn’t trying to pursue a career in acting or entertainment. A unnamed source told People, “She’s on his level.” ~Tarah Bleier

I’ll believe it when I see it. George has stated many times he would not re-marry. Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free.

George Clooney is gay. It’s a front.
