Amber Heard and Johnny DeppJust days before the scheduled wedding day, which was supposed to take place this weekend, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have announced they are already married. The two stars tied the knot on Johnny’s private island in the Bahamas, which he purchased in 2004. Even though there were breakup rumors surrounding their relationship, sources have told E!  the two “are really happy” and added that their relationship is “in a really good place.”

Johnny met Amber on the set of The Rum Diary in 2010, but the two didn’t become romantically linked publicly until after Johnny’s split in June 2012 from his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, with whom he shares daughter Lily-Rose, 15, and son Jack, 12.

In April 2014, in an interview with NBC news correspondent Savannah Guthrie, the Pirates of the Caribbean star wore the engagement ring he bought for Amber, because it was too big. He also talked about how, “She’s sharp as a tack,” and called Amber a “wonderful girl. A Southern belle and sweet as can be, and very good for me.”

This will be Amber’s first marriage and Johnny’s second marriage. The two were engaged in January of last year.

You can currently see Johnny on the big screen in Mortdecai and Into The Woods. Amber will be in the sequel Magic Mike XXL this summer. ~Andrew Siwik
