Brad Renfro

Brad Renfro played the title role in the film The Client. He began his career in school productions, notably one in which kids learn about the danger of drugs. Director Joel Schumacher wanted an unknown and Brad got his first break. Roles in movies such as The Cure, Sleepers, Telling Lies in America, Ghost World and The Jacket followed. He had just completed The Informers when he was found dead in his home in January 2008. He was 25. Ironic that his first acting job was speaking out against drugs, because drugs and alcohol plagued his life and career.
