Raven Symone, 27, has finally confirmed longtime rumors about her sexual orientation. “I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you,” tweeted Raven on Friday. The former star of Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven later spoke exclusively to E! News to clarify the meaning of her tweet. “I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted. I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage,” Raven said about the news that Minnesota and Rhode Island became the latest states to legalize gay marriage. However, Raven denied that she’s planning to tie the knot any time soon, saying, “I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to.” ~Alfonso Espina
This is wrong and it is disgusting, this will never be accepted as normal, I don’t care if the majority of gays says this is right. No it is NOT and one day all of you gays will have to answer to GOD!!!

Sparky, as an Atheist, you shouldn’t be saying what’s in the Bible when you obviously don’t know. Christians believe the Bible was written by God. So if as you say, God never said homosexuality was a sin, explain this: Lev. 20:13 “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death.” The new Pope says it’s not a sin to be gay, merely to act upon it. Which seems to be in keeping with the Bible.
Actually the bible was not written by God. It was Apostles and others who wrote sections of it and it became a book. ‘Jackson’, your quote says to lay with a male or a woman BOTH is a detestable act so THEY shall be put to death…ok so you can’t win being gay or straight in the bibles eyes.
I thought it’s supposed to preach ACCEPTANCE. Who are gay people hurting????? Really now think about it. And BTW back then, it really seemed everyone slept with everyone.

Will everyone please shut up and just be happy for raven? But since EVERYONE is doing it then fine. I am gay. And I am Christian. The Christianity that I am taught of is to be accepting to everyone regardless of race, orientation, etc.. There have been openly gay people in the Christian schools I went to and everyone (including priests and nuns) accepted them.
Ok, history lesson for Jackson! One the bible was not even written by Apostles or prophets! The bible was a collection of stories passed down from holy men centuries after the events had taken place and were eventually put to paper by scribes. Scribes, that were paid professionals since 99% of the people were illiterate. Meaning those who paid to have the stories written had all the editing control! Two, it’s pastors who came up with the silly rule that God wrote the bible so they can use old MIS-TRANSLATED passages to push there personal AGENDA’S! God gave 10 simple rules and not one of them says a thing about homosexuality. Jesus also says to ignore the teachings of the past since he is the son of God and his one true voice and yet he never says anything about homosexuality. Every single biblical scholar including the Vatican has said the very passage that Christians use to denounce homosexuality is a mis-interpreted passage from it’s original source. Christians are supposed to follow the teachings of Christ and yet they completely FAIL at it when it does not correspond with there ignorance and bigotry! Homosexuality is just as natural as heterosexuality it just happens in a smaller percentage of the population and has been around way before the invention of religion. Like I said God and Jesus never said homosexuality was wrong, some dumbwit named Leviticus said something that was mis-interpreted. You see Atheists actually read and we don’t fall for silly fairy tales! So yes I do know what I am talking about! When you can show me where Jesus says it’s wrong, then you win but until then nothing you can say can win this argument!

And this is a huge part of the problem. People trying to interpret the Bible without understanding it. The original passage is: “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman” and it means if you are a man and you have sexual relations with a man in the same way that other men have with women, then both of them (the men) “have committed a detestable act.” According to the Bible, men are supposed to be with women and create children.

Jackson once again you are wrong! The original translation of that passage in it’s original non-edited version does not mean sex at all! When it says “Lie” it means to be “dishonest” not to “Lay” is in lie down. This is what we call propaganda! Twisting old passages and mis-interpreting them to suit ones agenda. You really need to do more research before you quote the bible. The whole passage is about dishonesty and telling untruths, it’s not about homosexuality. So where is the proof that to be gay is a sin?

yeah. who cares about her sexuality. It’s her life, and she’s not hurting anyone. I used to be a bit of a homophobe when I was a kid until I realized there’s not enough love in this world. if two people find happiness than that’s all that really matters.
