LAUREN LEE SMITH
Date of Birth: June 19, 1980
Lauren Lee Smith was born in Vancouver, Canada. At the age of 13, while living in Los Angles, she was discovered by a fashion scout and so embarked on a 6-year career as a professional model. At 19, when she returned to Vancouver, she began her acting career by being cast in Get Carter. Her television career then took off with MTV's 2Gether and the pilot for James Cameron's Dark Angel for FOX. Her first leading television role was as 'Christy' in the mini-series Christy: Choice of the Heart opposite Diane Ladd. Recently, she has been recurring on Showtime's lauded The L Word. Lie With Me is her first lead role in a feature film.
