STEVEN STRAIT

Born and raised in Greenwich Village,
Steven Strait paid his own tuition at the private high school he attended by working as a model. He studied acting at Stella Adler Acting Studio and the Black Nexus Acting Studio, and began performing on the New York stage at an early age. His first onscreen role came at 15, as a guest on the hit TV series
Third Watch.
By the time he was 18, Strait was playing a supporting role in the major motion picture
Sky High (2005), starring
Kurt Russell. A month later, he landed a leading role in the independent film,
Undiscovered (2006), alongside
Ashlee Simpson.
In Columbia Pictures'
The Covenant (2006), he plays a private school student with supernatural powers.
In addition to acting talent, Strait possesses musical abilities and is the lyricist and lead singer for the band Tribute.
