It was a pretty good movie... but if you read the book the ending is totally different.. the ending was what made the book so great. I wished they had stuck with that. I had to leave half way, it was too depressing. Great acting and great story, however rent it at home so you can cry to your heart's content Not too bad acting, but the ending?? If you read the book you would know what I mean. Horrible, they butchered the book. So disappointing I really loved this movie, i couldn't stop crying, this is the only movie that moved me this way. As i do hate crying in public. I read the book before i even knew it was going to be a movie and the ending was a bit disappointing cause it didn't stick the book. But overall it was an original story, and Jodi Picoult is a great author. My Sisters Keeper has many ups and downs throughout the story, but all in all, its the true story of a cancer patients life, and how 1 little girl can make a difference. |
