Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga tops the weekend box office

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth debuted in the top spot at the weekend box office with a take of $25.6 million.
The Garfield Movie starring the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, debuted in second, taking in $24.8 million.
John Krasinski‘s family friendly comedy IF starring Ryan Reynolds and featuring the voice of Steve Carell dropped to third, earning an extra $16.1 million for a total of $58.7 million. Click here to read our review.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes starring Owen Teague and Kevin Durand dropped from second to fourth, taking in an additional $13,4 million for an impressive three-week haul of $122.8 million. Click here to watch our interview with the stars.
Rounding out the top five was The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. The action comedy earned an extra $5.9 million for a three-week take of $72.2 million. Click here to read our review.
