Jason Priestley dishes on Shannen Doherty drama

Jason Priestley, former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, is dishing on his cast mates and the real life drama he experienced while on the show. The 44-year-old actor opened up about his co-star Shannen Doherty in his upcoming book – Jason Priestley: A Memoir. Shannen had a reputation for being a bad girl and being difficult to work with. Jason recalls an incident when he was flying with her on a private jet. “I could not believe my ears at Shannen’s very first words after she boarded. Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, ‘Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?’ She sighed a very put-upon sigh. I laughed, as I couldn’t really tell if Shannen was kidding or not,” Jason wrote in an excerpt that will appear in the new issue of Us Weekly. “But that was just the beginning. I looked on, becoming more uneasy by the minute as she began bitching about the short notice and the food on board and the temperature in the cabin and everything else.”

Jason also shared some stories about his former roommate, a then-unknown Brad Pitt; his less-than-pleasant first time meeting former The O.C. star Mischa Barton, his first encounter with former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Tori Spelling’s husband Dean McDermott and romantic tips he received from Bradley Cooper. Jason’s memoir will hit bookstores May 6. ~Alexandra Sharova
