Lost star’s dog dies in his arms

By Alexandra Heilbron on June 3, 2010 | 12 Comments

Now that Lost is over, Jorge Garcia, who played Hugo “Hurley” Reyes on the popular series, was preparing to leave Hawaii when tragedy struck. He wrote on his blog on Monday: “It breaks my heart to tell you that yesterday as we were preparing to all go to the airport Nunu was struck by a car as she crossed the street. She died in my arms. We are burying her in the Pet Garden at Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe. Nunu hated the water so we couldn’t bring ourselves to having her ashes scattered in the ocean. Three months from now you’ll be able to find a bronze plaque inscribed with just her name there. If you’d like to leave a flower or a toy, I’m sure she’d love it… We love and miss her very much.” Garcia often wrote about Nunu on his blog, called Dispatches from the Island, along with photos and videos of her chewing toys, his nose, his pants and shoes, getting warm on a heating pad, and snuggled up in a pink blanket. R.I.P. Nunu.

tribute has asking “Which british actor is your favorite” polls. (It is on the right side of the Tribute)
Cmon!! Gerard Butler the douchabag is not british. he has some weird accent thats not even british. he is a Scottish for crying out loud!!! Tribute should have included Daniel Craig instead of the Douchebag!!!!!!!!!!

That’s a very sad story, and a horrible way to loose a pet.

Um, Sarah, British people are from the United Kingdom of Great Britain (U.K.), which is made up of Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. Therefore, Gerard is British.

    bang on, Kim…

for the record, Butler’s Scottish accent I find far from wierd, and quite likable

also, for the record, Sarah M – is douchabag your a) Italian version or b) feminine version cuz I was under the impression once labelled as such douchebag suffices more than adequately to demonstrate your point…

sorry for Hurley’s loss, I have put many pets to rest over the years, never gets easier but never changes my decision to acquire yet more pets to love and cherish for whatever time they give us….

I didn’t know if this was “Awww!” worthy or laugh worthy. I’m so confused lol. That does suck though, same happened to one of my dogs. Lived though.

K First off, Sarah M why would even post about something to do with Gerard Butler on an article that has nothing to do with him. Don’t get me wrong. I love Gerard Butler. And yes, Great Britain is made up of English, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
