Richard Branson praises Sharkwater and joins Fin Free campaign

Known philanthropist, wildlife activist and founder of Virgin Group, Richard Branson has always been a fan of sharks but truly became interested in shark conservation and anti-finning after watching Sharkwater. "The films I really enjoy are films with a meaning or purpose like Sharkwater, which explores the misunderstood world of sharks, and while beautify and thrilling, also exposes corruption and exploitation surrounding the world's shark populations," Branson told the New York Times Sunday Review. "It was such a powerful film that now I'm trying to stop shark finning around the globe." Branson has traveled around the globe to help ban shark finning and subsequently joined Rob's "Fin Free" campaign.
