Tribute's Toni Ippolito sat down with Nicolas Cage at TIFF to talk about his role in the Werner Herzog film, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans.
In Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, Cage plays Terence McDonagh, a corrupt, drug-addicted cop who'll stop at nothing to get his next fix.
In the interview, Cage talks to Tribute about working with Eva Mendes, being forced out of his comfort zone, and experiencing a re-birth in New Orleans.

A woman putting a gun at someone's stomach makes us "love" Ms. Mendes??? Please Don't speak for me, Mr. Cage, in that regard. Thank you. That does Not represent how I feel about how I'd love someone. All the rest of your comments I agree with. Nice of you to Share them with us. I'll be going to see your movie. I usually like almost all your movies.
