Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer-Krebs sat down with Robin Wright Penn and Keanu Reeves at TIFF to talk about their work in the Rebecca Miller film, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.
In Pippa Lee, Wright Penn plays Pippa, the dutiful wife of an older book publisher (Alan Arkin), who finds herself at an emotional crossroads and looks back at how her earlier life has shaped the person she’s become. Keanu Reeves plays Chris, the handsome neighbour whom Pippa befriends.
In the interview, Wright Penn and Reeves talk to Tribute about developing their characters, working with director Rebecca Miller, and creating chemistry with co-stars.
