Aliens arriving at TIFF!

Attention sci-fi fans, there are new alien creatures coming to town! The buzz is that first-time director Gareth Edwards' movie Monsters (D-Films)—which has garnered accolades at various film festivals this year-will be at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
Fans who are aching to get their creature feature fix will be happy to see this sci-fi film which follows a group of alien creatures living in present day in an area known as the "Infected Zone."

Monsters takes place six years after a NASA probe, returning to earth with samples of an alien life form, crashed over Central America. Soon after the crash, new life forms began to appear, leaving half of Mexico quarantined. When a businessman discovers his daughter is missing in Mexico, he hires a man to find her and bring her back safely to the U.S. border.

Does he succeed? You'll have to keep your ears peeled for this one.
