How did funnyman Will Ferrell switch gears for his new dramatic comedy Everything Must Go? The actor spoke with Tribute’s Ola Sturik at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival about playing a more serious role, working with a busy schedule and how he hopes audiences will receive his performance.
Everything Must Go tells the story of Nick Porter (Ferrell), a man whose world is turned upside down when he returns home after losing his job only to find that his wife has left him and tossed all of his possessions onto their front lawn. Nick turns his public humiliation into an attempt to start over with an elaborate five-day yard sale.
