It’s not every day that you fall in love on a movie set, but that’s exactly what happened to Canadian actors Jay Baruchel and Alison Pill. The duo sat down with Ola Sturik of Tribute at the Toronto International Film Festival to talk about the hockey comedy Goon (which Baruchel also co-wrote), directed by Michael Dowse.
Baruchel, who is a huge hockey fan, says that he wanted to make sure this was the best hockey movie anyone has ever seen. They also tell Tribute about Baruchel’s funny proposal and their upcoming wedding next fall.
