Matthew Goode confesses that he was frightened by the prospect of doing Jonathan Teplitzky’s Burning Man, because of the director’s emotional and personal connection to the script, but says that the challenging film stretched him as an actor.
Goode sat down with Bonnie Laufer of Tribute at the Toronto International Film Festival to discuss his role as Tom, a grief-stricken father on an intense downward spiral after losing his wife. He talks about working with the young actor who plays his son in the film, and what it was like to play a chef (he likes to cook in real life!). Goode also talks about his upcoming film Stoker, which was written by "Prison Break" star Wentworth Miller.
