In their new film Damsels in Distress, Greta Gerwig plays the alpha female to a trio of upper-class university girls while Carrie MacLemore plays one of her trusty followers. The pair sat down with Toni-Marie Ippolito at TIFF 2011 to chat about the film and what it was like working with a director they both admired. Gerwig talks about her upcoming film with Woody Allen while MacLemore talks about Damsels in Distress being her first movie.
