Innovation in film showcased at TIFF 2012

Wavelengths is a curated presentation during the Toronto International Film Festival that showcases the best in international avant-garde film. This year the programme has expanded its reach to include 47 films that include formally inventive, daring narratives and documentary features.

The goal of this programme is to bring audiences together and expand conversation among critics, film producers and general festival attendees.

This year’s selection include works by Ben Rivers, Athina Rachel Tsangari, Carlos Reygades, Heinz Emigholz, Thomas Demand, Francesca Woodman, Ernie Gehr, John Gianvito, Matias Pineiro, Nathaniel Dorsky and many more.
