Kristen Stewart nervous about TIFF appearance

After experiencing an extremely public affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, Kristen Stewart will make her first public appearance later this week at TIFF, where her new film - Walter Salles' On the Road - will be premiering. Now, with only days left before the Twilight star finds her way back onto the red carpet, a source has told RadarOnline that the young star is having a bit of trouble dealing with the prospect of returning to the spotlight.

"Kristen Stewart hasn't been able to get a wink of sleep in the run-up to the film festival," the source revealed to the website. "Even though members of the media have been strictly told that questions about her cheating scandal are off-limits, she's been fretting over the film's premiere. She really hopes that the critics are kind to her when it comes to the reviews and they don't judge her on her personal life." The source continues that Stewart is extremely worried about how the film's reception might be tainted by the scandal. "On the Road is a project that's very close to Kristen's heart," the source says. "She is a big fan of the original novel by Jack Kerouac and wants the movie to get the praise she thinks it deserves. Kristen's worried that because it opens the festival, a lot is expected of it and just prays that it's well received." ~Devin Garabedian

It's only natural she's apprehensive. She's embarrassed and she knows her behaviour was less than stellar. Knowing how the festival is run she will be treated with respect, as will her film.

Oh to be there and somehow let her know that somehow life will work out the way it's supposed to. All of her older than 30 fans remember how it was at 22 and the confusion and wonderment that frustrations of early adulthood. I just wish all this stink was over. It has been too cruel!!!! God bless her!! Good luck and for all at the festival - treat her right!!!
