Actor and musician Siddharth appears in his third film of 2012 with Midnight's Children. Although he doesn't read a lot of fiction, he told Tribute.ca that he speed-read the book for his role, focusing more on the script than the novel for inspiration. Describing his director, Deepa Mehta, as a compassionate bully, he goes on to talk about how much he enjoyed shooting his action scenes especially because he had never worked with a female director before.
