Saad Siddiqui—who has been attending the Toronto International Film Festival for six years—told Tribute.ca that he thought the fun of making Ruba Nadda's Inescapable was how it depicts contemporary Syria and how relevant it is to current events. In this interview, he also talks about how he's used filmmaking as an escape, his inspirations and how he and his co-star did all their own stunts.

Comments:
I usually like going to films with less known actors but I have always enjoyed Ruba's work. This film had a great well known cast and then their was Saad Siddiqui playing a great villain role but not well known to audiences. He was simply brilliant and powerful opposite such a well known cast including Marisa Tomei. I hope the industry takes more notice of this up and coming actor.
