Cory Monteith's indie drama All the Wrong Reasons received the Grolsch Film Works Discovery Award on Sunday night at the Toronto International Film Festival. First-time director Gia Milani beat out 27 other competitors for the annual award that recognizes emerging filmmaking talent with a $10,000 paycheck to fund their next film. After accepting her award, Gia spoke about the tragedy of her leading man's death back in July. "The last couple months have been really difficult after Cory died. It’s been really nice to come here and talk to his fans and have their support,” she said. All the Wrong Reasons and Josh C. Waller's McCanick (which premiered at TIFF on Monday night) marked Cory's final acting roles. ~Alfonso Espina
