Mary Queen of Scots is a historical drama that follows the story of the doomed monarch of Scotland. Swiss director Thomas Imbach, intrigued by the Queen of Scots, admits to Tribute.ca that he didn’t want to tell a traditional costume drama and explains what drew him to cast Camille Rutherford as Mary.
