The first trailer for Operation Finale opens during World War II as Nazi officer Adolf Eichmann (Ben Kingsley) orders the mass murder of a large group of Jewish people. A title screen tells us this film is based on a true story. In 1960, Mossad agent Peter Malkin (Oscar Isaac) is told Hitler’s missing Lieutenant Eichmann, “the Architect of the Final Solution,” may have been found in Argentina. Malkin is tasked with bringing Eichmann to justice for his unspeakable crimes against millions of innocent Jews and puts together an elite crew to help him do so.
