Comparisons are inevitable for fans of the TV serial but I respectfully recommend bringing fresh eyes and an open mind to the big screen adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s book Brideshead Revisited, voted one of TIMES "All-time 100 Best Novels.”

I have really enjoyed the movie. It is anything but boring. Very smart and has a great cast.
