Two young men -- a ranch-hand and a rodeo cowboy -- meet in the summer of 1963, and unexpectedly forge a lifelong connection, one whose complications, joys, and tragedies provide a testament to the endurance and power of love.

Canadian Connection: Partly filmed in Fort McLeod and Calgary, Alberta.
im 75 and i was very moved....to realize that gay men or woman felt love so deeply is something i never thought about as exsisting.. very eye and heart opening movie.
This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. These characters stay in your mind long after the movie ends. It's been called a "gay cowboy movie", but it is far from that. It is truly a love story, and my heart aches for these characters. I never cry at movies, but this one brings tears to my eyes every time I see it.
Two years on and it's still got a hold of me. I love it. Can't wait for the Special Edition with more behind the scenes stuff.
