Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky Movie Synopsis

In 1913 Paris, Russian composer Igor Stravinsky's (Mads Mikkelsen) audacious The Rite of Spring causes a near-riot. Although French designer Coco Chanel (Anna Mouglalis) is there that night, she only meets Stravinsky seven years later.

Their mutual attraction is electric—and Chanel invites him, along with his consumptive wife and four children, to stay with her.

In French, Russian and English with subtitles.

Beautifully acted INTELLIGENT film, and very revealing about their relationship. The lighting, music (of course) and visual richness only makes an excellent film better. Sooo French, and the clothes are fabulous.
