A comic series of vignettes that build on one another to create a cumulative effect as the characters discuss things as diverse as caffeine popsicles, Paris in the twenties, and the use of nicotine as an insecticide, all while sitting around sipping coffee and smoking cigarettes.
What`this? A movie?, hard to say. I`m still surprised by the distribution of actors. Such a great actors in this strange nicotine/cofeine propaganda duet.
such a bad movie call it candy and juice
If you make ut through the first painfully putrid 15 minutes, you`ll be treated to the remaining flawless 80 minutes. Though the Tom Waits (score!) and Iggy Pop scene is amazing (it`s the third one), with each visionette the film gets better and better. The Steve Coogan and Alfred Molina scene is roll on the floor knee slapping fun. Actually, everything about this movie is great, minus the first two scenes. If you`re sick of the predictable trash Hollywood craps out, and are in the mood to see something VERY different, watch this. Not the movie for everyone, but it is a great film.
