Happy Texas Movie Synopsis

In the sleepy town of Happy, Texas, the biggest event is the annual Little Miss Fresh-Squeezed Beauty Pageant. Unfortunately, this year community support is waning. If there is any hope of making it to the state finals, it's time to bring out the big guns: a famous gay couple, who are hired to direct the show. In awe of these "professionals," no one in town notices that the "boys" are actually escapees from a West Texas chain gang, who have unwittingly rolled into town in a stolen RV, stocked mysteriously with a sewing machine, spandex, and sequins. With the Texas Rangers hot on their trail and the local bank just ripe for the picking, it seems the perfect place to bite the bullet, lay low, and get down to the business at hand putting on a pageant.

pegs Texas like "King of the Hill" :)

I think Happy, Texas is one of the funniest films I`ve seen in a long time. The sheriff`s dilemma was funny and touching at the same time.

I thought it was hilarious and great. One of the best! Truly. Jeremy Northam made the movie and Steve Zahn you`re funny too. "Oh my god, David! Someone stole our crappy camper!"
