Hope Floats Movie Synopsis
Birdee, once a high school beauty queen, returns to her hometown after being dumped by her husband. With her young daughter in tow, she moves back in with her eccentric mother - and enters a world of emotional turmoil. Along the way Birdee learns not to give up on the things that really matter: love, acceptance, promises, and - above all - hope.
I think it is a warm sensitive film that makes you want to cheer when things finally go right for the main character.
