I Am Sam Movie Synopsis
Sam Dawson (Penn) is a mentally-challenged man raising his daughter Lucy. As Lucy is reaching her seventh birthday, and intellectually surpassing her father, a social worker threatens their bond as she feels Lucy should be placed under foster care.
Faced with a case that looks like it can't possibly win, Sam vows to fight the legal system with the help of attorney Rita Harrison (Pfeiffer), who initially takes the case as a challenge from her colleagues.
Really good movie and great soundtrack.
