Le Rôle de sa vie Movie Synopsis

Claire Rocher, a shy typist at a fashion magazine, gets the chance to meet her idol, movie star Elisabeth Becker. Initially nasty, the actress eventually warms up to Claire, even offering her a job as her personal assistant. Claire jumps at the chance. She becomes the narcissistic star's shadow, and for her trouble, gets treated like a servant or a best friend, depending on Elisabeth's mood.

While working for the magazine, Claire developed a friendship with Mathias, a gardener who was decorating the office patio. The two often chatted, and even when she was with Elisabeth, he seemed unimpressed by the celebrity, ignoring her completely to talk to Claire instead. So when the actress and her assistant go on location for a film and Claire is asked to pick up a friend of Elisabeth's at the train station, she's dumbstruck when she finds the friend is none other than Mathias. Has he fallen under Elisabeth's spell too?
