Magnolia Movie Synopsis
Stacked with an ensemble cast (including nine alumnists from Boogie Nights, the director's last film), this drama follows six different interweaving stories set in the San Fernando Valley within the general themes of family relationships and bonds that have been broken and need to be mended in one day. Essentially, it's the story of a Father, the Young Wife, his Lost Son, the Caretaker, the Boy Genius, his Father, the Game Show Host, the Daughter, the Mother, the Ex-Boy Genius, and the Police Officer in Love.
Magnolia was amazing. P.T. Andersen does a great job. This movie had tons of underlining themes and a bunch of hidden stuff to catch. Some people didn`t get the whole "frog" thing. Well look in the Bible under Exodus 8:2
Things just happen because they happen there doesn`t have to be a meaning and that is the very point of this movie. I think the frong coming down like rain was just amazing. Tom Cruise was at his best and for whatever reason he didn`t get an oscar for that role is beyond me.
I don t see how so many people liked this movie!!! especially after seeing the frogs!!!
