Disgusted with human evolution, a foul-mouthed monster (Burke) kills anyone
who crosses his path. When a news crew is sent to investigate, the monster
disappears and a guileless young journalist (Polley) is dispatched to follow up
on the story. She befriends the monster, and eventually becomes his only hope in
ending his life of misery.
Beautiful film...thoughful, provacative, Robert Burke was an exceptional introspective monster...but a bit left "up in the air" near the end, too enigmatic, like space odyssey 2001.
