On The Nose Movie Synopsis

Brendan Delaney (Coltrane) is a janitor at an Irish medical college, whose gambling problem has wiped out his daughter's college fund. By accident, he discovers that the 200-year-old severed head of an Australian aborigine, preserved in a jar, has an uncanny ability to pick the winners at the horse track. He steals the head in hopes of turning his luck around, and his boss (Akyroyd) also seeks to cash in. But complications arise when gangsters start noticing their winnings, and an aboriginal historian arrives to return the head to Australia.
