Two modern-day teenage siblings find themselves mysteriously trapped in an ultra-wholesome, black-and-white sitcom from the 1950s. When these teens bring their '90s attitude into this unsuspecting era of purity and blandness, the residents of Pleasantville discover that magnificent changes can occur in living colour.
This is one of the best screenplays ever. Spare me the Citizen Kane and Chinatown comparisons. This is brilliant and more entertaining!
SINCE I SAW IT IN THE MOVIE THEATER, I THOUGHT IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING PREMISS ESPECIALLY WITH THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEING IN COLOR AS TO a black and white life. It shows how the Ozzie & Harriet really wasn't life to the fullest. (I must say that every time I see our local fire department down the street to go to a fire, I think "CAT"! If you don't what I am talking about -get the DVD and Watch
i think thay need to make a part 2 to tell what thar are doing now
